I have been writing for various newspapers since 2015 on topics ranging from economic policy to history to sailing and more. I completed an internship at The Indian Express in Mumbai and am was a Desk Editor at The Stanford Daily. I currently write opinion pieces and heritage articles for a range of newspapers and magazines including The Indian Express, Financial Express, ThePrint, TheQuint, TheWire and Deccan Herald

The Indian Express
I interned at the Indian Express in the Summer of 2017. From writing stories on the launch of the Goods and Services Tax, the rise and fall of the sailing industry, the history of Bombay and local businesses, I learned a lot about the city. I was a Desk Editor at The Stanford Daily, Stanford University's newspaper. I have been able to meet and interview top-level government officials including Former Deputy Treasury Secretary Sarah Bloom Raskin, Douglas Wilson, Former Assistant Secretary of Defence, Janet Yellen, Chair of the Federal Reserve and others, academics such as Francis Fukuyama, journalists like Bill Keller and businessmen such as Tom Steyer. Maritime exploration has always been a passion for my family and me. Over the years, I have travelled extensively along coastal India and learnt about its rich maritime history.
In the Winter of 2015 We sailed down to Murud-Janjira Fort, located in the middle of the sea, approximately 80 kilometres south of the Bombay Harbour. Kayaking around and exploring the fort revealed its uniquely rich history. I decided to write about this experience for the India Yachting Magazine.
I also explored the abandoned island of Underi, approximately 30 kilometres away from the Bombay Harbour, in 2016. This marine fort used to be a Maratha stronghold until the British came to rule Bombay. The India Yachting Magazine carried my piece on the once thriving, but now unused island.
